Kendra graduated from Harvard University with a degree in English and a secondary in Psychology. In undergrad, her work explored the intersection between human experience and expression, focusing in particular on the permanence of stories in the human consciousness. Beyond this focus, she studied a wide variety of fields - ranging from Economics to Japanese, Computer Science, Sociology, and more - and conducted research in Earth and Planetary Sciences on ocean-level change and human migration. Currently, her research interest is the culture and history of the Azores, and she works in the film industry. Divine Mercy, an ethnographic documentary and her first film, is in post-production.
